USCAP Foundation offers $1,000 travel grants to 20 Pathologists-in-Training, easing costs for attending USCAP’s 113th Annual Meeting from March 23-28, 2024 in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a core part of our initiative “Fostering the Next Generation of Pathologists,” aimed at nurturing and empowering emerging pathologists to shape the field’s future. Their participation not only enhances learning but also fuels their potential contributions to pathology.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Must be a Pathologist-in-Training enrolled in a pathology (or equivalent) professional training program recognized by the Academy
  • Must reside in the United States or Canada
  • Must be the first author of an abstract accepted* for USCAP’s 2024 Annual Meeting

*We encourage all trainees to apply even before their abstract status is confirmed.

A maximum of 20 travel awards will be issued this year.  Applicants will be notified of the results of the award process by December 15th, 2023. The $1,000 travel award will be distributed at the Annual Meeting. The winner must register for the Annual Meeting and attend it in order to receive the award. Travel award winners are responsible for making all of their own travel and lodging arrangements.

The Pathologist-in-Training Travel Awards are made possible by philanthropic donations to the USCAP Foundation.
